The 20th E-SOVE Conference will be held in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, ULisboa - 3rd-7th October 2016, preceded by a two-day training course on vector control, surveillance, monitoring and identification (1st-2nd October 2016). The training course themes will be: ticks, mosquitoes, Culicoides, simulids and Phlebotomus
This meeting is being organized by Isabel Pereira da Fonseca and her team at FMV and Isabel Carvalho and Hugo Osório at INSA.
The European Society for Vector Ecology (E-SOVE) is a European branch of the American Society SOVE www.sove.org a nonprofit organization founded in California in 1968.
The aim of the E-SOVE is to share knowledge and create a large network among scientists on thematics concerning the ecology and control of arthropods of medical and veterinary importance.
